The Digital Artists & Photography Associates, (DAPA) Group was founded in 2002 for the more experienced proletarian photographer. As a group, we capture a wide variety of subject matter and styles. From landscape and natural history studies to portrait and figure work, from still life to abstract, and from documentary photography to travel. Like many other photography clubs or societies, DAPA group is divided into sections, this is so members can progress with their hobby at a steady pace, and not feel pressurised or intimidated by photographers working at a higher level.

1. Our Award Winning Exhibition & Distinction group, This is our top flight group, a specialist group for members wishing to take their photography to the next level. By this we mean exhibiting work at both National and International level, in doing so you will be competing for a place along side some of the best amateur photographers in the world. Therefore, the aim of this group is to work together as a team, in order to push the limits of our photography to the standards required for FIAP, PAGB and BPE distinctions.
This group is a member of the Midland Counties Photographic Federation (MCPF), affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB).
2. Our Flickr Group, DAPA the Best Group on Flickr. This is our photography group based on Flickr. Membership to this group is free and open to all photographers, irrespective of geographical location.
Our Flickr group has no association with any photographic body, other than the photo-sharing community groups on Flickr™.
The aim of this group is to provide an ever increasing pool of motivating images, not only for our own members to derive inspiration from, but for others too, having been a member there since 2007.
